Toney McCray

Al Wasl Dubai (D1) added to their roster 30-year old American forward Toney McCray (196-89, college: Nebraska). He played last season at Qatar Club in Qatari D1 league. In 9 games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.8ppg, 9.0rpg, 3.9apg and 1.7spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Honorable Mention. McCray also played for Trefl (EBL) in Polish league where in three games he averaged 4.3ppg and 2.7rpg.
McCray is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in eight different countries. McCray has played previously professionally in Argentina (Lanus), Cyprus (Apollon), Germany (Kirchheim Knights), Hungary (MAFC Budapest), Lithuania (Olimpas Plunge), Luxembourg (Musel Pikes), Mexico (Toros and Dorados) and Poland (Anwil).
He attended University of Nebraska until 2012 and it will be his eighth season as a professional player.
